- Purpose: Interns will explore activities and behaviors that promote student engagement as well as identify engagement as a characteristic in a well-managed classroom.
- Teacher-Interns read/review the article titled “Student Engagement” by James G. Lengel.
- Teacher-Interns will get into groups of not less-than three (3) and not greater-than four (4) people to brainstorm activities that promote student engagement and activities that prohibit engagement.
End result: Each group will create a poster.
